Max Franz joins Fischer Sports

The 2017/18 Alpine Skiing World Cup season has barely come to an end and the Fischer Race Family is already preparing for the next ski season 2018/19 despite rising temperatures. The company from Ried is particularly pleased about the new arrival of Max Franz. The Austrian speed specialist will be competing with Fischer skis, boots and bindings in the future.

The 28-year-old Max Franz will be part of the Austrian Fischer Race Family team from the 2018/19 season. The Carinthian has demonstrated consistent strength in the Downhill and Super G disciplines in particular, underpinning this with multiple podium finishes and a World Cup bronze medal in St. Moritz. He is confident about his future collaboration with Fischer:

"I am very happy to be on board the Fischer Race Family and to start the 18/19 World Cup season together with a new partner. With an Austrian product on my feet and a strong training partner like Vinc Kriechmayr in the team, I'm sure I can go far to the front in the coming season. The goal is clearly to win a medal at the World Championships in Are."

Race Director Siegi Voglreiter is also delighted with the contract signed with the speed specialist: "I am sure that Max will enrich the Fischer Race Family in the speed competitions. Together with Vincent Kriechmayr we will have a young, strong team from the Austrian ranks who complement each other perfectly and can push each other to the top. In addition, the two of them will give us important feedback for the development of our products - so we can write success stories together."
