Patrick Küng and Thomas Tumler switch to Fischer Sports

After the Austrian newcomer with Max Franz, the Fischer Race Family continues to grow: the two Swiss athletes Patrick Küng and Thomas Tumler are also switching to the ski manufacturer from Ried im Innkreis and will contest their races on Fischer in future.

The Fischer Race Family team is also growing in the strong skiing nation of Switzerland: with Patrick Küng and Thomas Tumler, the family-owned company from Austria is gaining two more promising athletes for itself. For the experienced Küng, downhill world champion from 2015, the material is crucial as a success factor for the upcoming World Cup season: "After some difficulties last year, I am very happy to have a new partner at my side. The first tests turned out to be very promising and so I am full of motivation to take off again as part of the Fischer Race Family."

With Thomas Tumler, another athlete with great potential is switching to the Austrian ski manufacturer. For the 28-year-old Giant Slalom and Super G specialist, a good working relationship with his equipment supplier is particularly important: "With my new partner Fischer I have found exactly what I was looking for. I'm proud to be competing together with a family team like the Fischer Race Family in the future."

Fischer Race Director Siegi Voglreiter is looking forward to an exciting future with the two new athletes: "We are very pleased to be able to expand our speed team strongly in a strong nation like Switzerland. With the established Patrick Küng and the up-and-coming Thomas Tumler, we can certainly put an exclamation mark on the future. Together with our new additions, the Fischer Race Family is starting the 18/19 World Cup season with full motivation."
