At home on the slopes

The carving ski or carver ski is the waisted ski, which has its use mainly on the groomed slope. It is, along with the racing ski, the most widespread ski, especially in Europe, because it is easy to turn thanks to a narrow central width and is best suited to the groomed slope. Some brands and models sometimes also process a slight rocker (Aufbiegung) at the tip to increase the turning pleasure of the ski.
