Wimbledon 2015: Sensation - Brown knocks out Nadal

It's only the second round at Wimbledon for Nadal, but it was going to be terrible for him. He faced the German-Jamaican dual citizen Dustin Brown today. The Jamaican played cheeky and carefree, what had the 196 cm tall and slim Brown to lose, after all, he is currently ranked 102 in the ATP world rankings. Not only did Brown stand out with his long hair in a rasta look, but also with his skillful tennis game with good service play, convincing passing shots, impressive stop balls, fast sprints and attacks from the net. Again and again Brown rushed to the net, hardly had he served, to place Nadal's return out of reach for the Spaniard again in his field. So the crowd was amazed when Brown won the first set. Nadal, who is now ranked 10th in the ATP world, struggled to find his game of earlier days. He would do well to perform fewer facial rituals with his hand and do more for the game, because the Spaniard was himself to blame for many mistakes. Too often he had to tremble for his own service game, fight bitterly for it, or even surrender it. He tried to fight back, but Brown played him up against the wall. Nadal came back clearly in the second set and also won the set, but in the third set the fun was over again and the match turned in Brown's favor. Especially the looseness with which Brwon moved and which he showed helped him a good deal in his superiority over Nadal. The fact that Brown was on the verge of taking down a former tennis giant didn't seem to bother him. Again and again, Brown boldly rushed to the net and placed the ball out of Nadal's reach. One could only marvel, where was Nadal's resistance? And suddenly it was 40:15 at 5:4 in the fourth set for Brown, who now had three match points, the first of which he sank with an ace and thus sealed the match victory. What a blow for Rafael Nadal and what an inspiration for Wimbledon, this relaxed Brown. Has a new tennis star been born?
