Giro d'Italia 2014 : 7th stage Frosinone - Foligno (211km)

After a mass crash in stage 6, Katusha captain Joaquin Rodriguez suffered a more serious injury than first thought and had to abandon the Tour due to a fractured rib. The Katusha team announced that he was in the Vuelta and the participation in the Tour de France would not be excluded.
Nacer Bouhanni (FDJ.fr) won the 7th stage in a sprint ahead of Italian Giacomo Nizzolo (Trek) and Slovenian Luka Mezgec (Giant shimano) and this is the second victory of the Frenchman in this Tour.
