It's been a few years since Elan unveiled its Amphibio concept and made a splash with its Porsche Studio-developed design. Elan's Amphibio models have their very special place in the world of all-mountain skis worldwide.
Two major changes have been made for the winter of 2015/16. On the one hand, the design has changed significantly and has become visually much calmer. Secondly, Elan proudly presents its new 4D concept. To the previous Amphibio rocker with classic preload on the inside and rocker on the outside, double titanium inserts are added, which are curved outward in the front part of the ski and curved inward in the rear part of the ski. The benefits of the asymmetrical rocker concept are now joined by titanium inserts that provide strong edge grip in the front and improved turnout in the rear, making the ski even more precise, powerful and easy to turn overall. The combination of these 4 technologies - Rocker / Camber / Concave / Convex - in one and the same ski is called Elan 4D technology and this is brand new.
