Severin Lehner becomes new Head of One Way

After the ONE WAY brand was purchased and successfully reorganized by FISCHER SPORTS GMBH in May 2018, the team around the brand is now being strengthened, as planned. With Severin Lehner, a long-time FISCHER employee is taking over the position of Head of ONE WAY and thus responsibility for the brand.

"With Severin Lehner, the right person is taking over management of the business unit at the right time. With him as the front man, the basis has been created to achieve our ambitious goals with the ONE WAY brand," says Franz Föttinger, CEO FISCHER. In his role, Lehner will be primarily responsible for brand management, product development and sports marketing. Sales, customer service and logistics will continue to be covered by the proven FISCHER organization.

After studying sports at the Technical University of Munich, the state-certified ski instructor started at FISCHER in national marketing in Germany in the Alpine division and was then responsible for product management Alpine boots internationally for the past three years. Severin Lehner will benefit from his many years of experience in sports retailing and product management in his new area of responsibility, and the 37-year-old is looking forward to the challenge: "After many intensive and very instructive years working in the environment of the Alpine boot product category, I am looking forward to the new challenge at ONE WAY and the change of perspective that comes with it. In order to achieve our ambitious future goals with ONE WAY, we will be working intensively in the near future to further develop ONE WAY as a brand, to specifically adapt the product portfolio to the needs of our target group, and to make optimal use of synergy effects within the FISCHER Group."

The sporty ONE WAY figureheads Dorothea Wierer, Charlotte Kalla, Arnd Peiffer & Co caused quite a stir last winter, as usual. In the future, ONE WAY will continue to be seen successfully in the cross-country skiing and biathlon World Cup as a brand based on leading pole technologies.
