Rossignol Hero Elite 2018/19

The new 2018/19 race ski generation for ambitious recreational skiers

The elite models of the Hero line have also been well established in the market for 4 years. With its slightly more forgiving construction and its detachment from FIS dimensions, it appeals to the demanding skier who uses most of the technological strengths of the World Cup skis without being tied to the masses. The shape also corresponds to the World Cup models quite unlike the Master models. At the same time, the models also benefit from Rossignol's new LCT technology for increased track control.

Ski technology

DLC technology

This is a massive hydraulic shock absorber thatt is placed between the binding and the tip of the ski to significantly increase overall tracking control, which in detail results in the following effects:

  • No counterflex is possible - so you can keep the track perfectly.
  • Stability between the gates is increased (beveled areas).
  • One gains the flex control in the curves
  • One achieves an efficient edge grip
  • The ski shows a lively behavior at the end of the swing

LCT technology

This technology is based on the DLC (Dynamic Line Control) technology used by World Cup athletes. It guarantees performance and energy. Through the middle of the ski runs a titanal strand and provides captivating stability and dynamic line control throughout the turn.

Minicap construction, Rectangular Sidewall

A very versatile, forgiving and evolutionary construction gives skiers plenty of room to progress. The wood core gives the ski its character and feel for the snow. The rectangular structure allows better distribution of flexibility and the vertical sidewalls provide direct and powerful edge grip.

On-Trail Rocker

90% BIAS 10% LIGHT TIP ROCKER
The ON-TRAIL rocker is designed for precision on the slopes. It has a classic camber over 90 percent of the ski's length for explosive quickness and strong edge grip, and a small rocker on the shovel (10 percent) for easy turn initiation and turn control.

Oversized sidecut

The OVERSIZED SIDECUT combines the shape of a carving ski with the current widths underfoot. It offers precise power and very good edge grip with improved stability and control.

Integrated Tip

The new shovel without screws or rivets is perfectly integrated into the shape of the ski.
