It can be said without exaggeration that Rossignol is one of the driving forces behind the rocker theme. The French manufacturer was one of the first to start massively expanding its range of rocker skis. In 2012/13, even the slalom race skis are now equipped with rocker, as well as the majority of the range. Here, Rossignol pleases the clean gradation of their four different rockers:
New: Radical Slalom with Rocker for racers
Starting this winter, all slalom models (SL) of the Radical racing ski series are equipped with a fine rocker (10%) at the shovel. The rocker is so small that the ski hardly loses any grip when used on hard slopes, but gains another significant notch in turning pleasure. The unisex skis are for men and women.
New: Pursuit with rocker for the slopes
Last winter, the men's piste skis had to do without a rocker, now all the models in the "Pursuit" line, with the exception of the Pursuit Open model, are all equipped with a fine Power Turn rocker. 11 models, which differ significantly in terms of design, dimensions (average widths between 70 and 76 mm, lengths between 149 and 177 cm and radii between 12 and 17 m), equipment (material, bindings) and prices (Fr. 399.00 to Fr. 1,099.00), offer customers plenty of choice. What they all have in common is the "H technology" with split shovel and ski tail for precise swing release and IPS technology for maximum edge grip.
Expanded: Experience and Alias for all-mountain enthusiasts
The successful all-mountain line "Experience", which was launched last year, will continue virtually unchanged. Except for the 78er Mo-dellen (78 mm center width), which have received a new cover sheet, everything has remained the same. Priced between Fr. 629.00 to Fr. 899.00, the Experience models are well positioned in the market and absolutely affordable, offering a cool cover sheet and absolute topper performance. The Alias line, which was already launched the winter before last, got another little brother in 2012. The new "Alias 76 Carbon Xelium" closes the gap between the Alias 74 models and the Experience 78 models. So the narrower Alias is now available with a new 76 mm center width and a lightweight, new Xelium binding. With prices ranging from Fr. 399.00 to Fr. 599.00, the Alias models make up the more affordable entry-level models for all-mountain enthusiasts who tend to hit the slopes more often.
Furthermore: Temptation for the allmountain girls
According to the motto "never change a winning team" has also remained true to the Temptation line for the all-mountain riders. The comprehensive range offers female customers a generous selection of center widths from 74 to 82 mm and lengths from 136 to 174 cm, ranging in price from Fr. 399.00 to Fr. 799.00. With a 30% rocker content, the Skilady is well equipped for new and powder snow.
New: Attraxion models for the female piste skier
In 2012 Rossignol also launches two rockered piste models of the Attraxion line for women. First, there is the Attraxion Xelium W model, which is equipped with a 10% light rocker at the shovel. With a center width of only 70 mm, the model clearly belongs to classic carver skis used on the slopes. Another highlight on it is the new Xelium binding, which is about 700 grams lighter than conventional binding, which ladies will appreciate, you wear on the ski therefore much lighter. For Fr. 449.00, the ski is almost a gift. On the other hand, there is the Attraxion Light Zip W model, which differs from the Xelium W only in terms of top sheet, binding system and price. One saves here on the binding and makes Fr. 50.00 forward. Especially beginners are recommended these two models.
