When will Red Bull burst its collar

Max Verstappen is undoubtedly one of the most talented Formula 1 racing drivers of the present day, but the failures he has allowed himself this season go far beyond what a human being can be forgiven for as a human error. His last major super-hit was the completely unnecessary crash with his stablemate Daniel Ricciardo at the Baku/Azerbaijan GP. In a promising position (4th and 5th) in the race, the two had to fight a completely unnecessary race against each other and crashed into each other at the end of the long straight. Blame according to experts: Verstappen. The apology from the two drivers in the factory in front of 800 employees hasn't really had any effect yet, has it? Well, in the follow-up race at the Spanish GP, Verstappen made up for his mistake by finishing on the podium. But at the highlight of the Formula 1 season, the Monaco Grand Prix, he delivered his next slip-up. While he and Ricciardo led in all three free practice sessions and were the most promising candidates for pole and thus for a one-two in the race with Ricciardo - because the Red Bull team actually managed to give its drivers the fastest Formula 1 car at the Monaco GP - he shot his car down on the last run in the third free practice session after unexpectedly hitting the barrier after Sainz's overtaking maneuver and destroying the suspension of the right front wheel. The mechanics tried their best to get the car back on track for the upcoming qualifying session, but the damage was too great and qualifying was over. Verstappen thus unintentionally deprives Red Bull of an almost certain double victory at the prestigious Monaco GP. Talent or not, you have to make it to the finish line, of course, otherwise the whole exercise is for nothing. And what fabulous patience the people at Red Bull have with Verstappen, admirable! But how long can this go on, how long will those responsible at Red Bull continue to watch this goings-on? First the spin at the Australian GP, then the retirement in Bahrain because he was dueling with Hamilton and didn't want to give in, which resulted in his retirement, then he shoots down Vettel in China, then the super-gau in Azerbaijan and now this disaster. In 5 out of 6 races, the young Dutchman has simply messed up and harmed himself and/or the team. When will Red Bull wash its head of its stormy driver or will the team even pull the rip cord if it continues like this? But in any case, Max Verstappen is constantly providing something in terms of entertainment in Formula 1.
