TransTirol BikeRally 2018 goes Slovenia

From July 1 - 7, 2018 the next TransTirol BikeRally will take place. This time we leave Tyrol and make a stop in Slovenia. The 300-kilometer-long loop, which includes about 10,000 meters of altitude, will be supplemented by short detours to Italy and Austria. In the midst of the Carnic and Julian Alps we will experience a unique mountain bike adventure. The landscape is solitary, varied and wild - the trails are not laid out or specially adapted for biking. In the mountains and forests of Slovenia you have to work out the trails. Roots, rough stones, the one or other fallen tree - these obstacles must be overcome. The reward for the effort lies in the untouched nature. In part, you have the feeling of being the first mountain biker on the road - the tracks that you know from the classic areas in Tyrol are hardly present here. The TransTirol BikeRally 2018 is a journey of discovery through the mountain world of the Triglav National Park and the fantastically beautiful Sočatal. Unforgettable mountain bike moments are guaranteed.

Stage race without timekeeping
As a participant of the Trans Tirol Bike Rally you can expect quality in all areas: you ride with a start number, enjoy the typical race atmosphere at the start and finish - but without any time pressure. There is the possibility to join one of the guides, who are on the road at different speeds, so you can concentrate on the landscape, panorama and trail enjoyment. If you prefer to tackle the individual stages or sections of the route on your own or together with friends, you can use the signposting, route description and/or GPS data to find your way to the next destination. You don't have to worry about your luggage. Transport logistics for luggage, workshop trolleys, mechanics, spare and test bikes are booked right at the time of registration. Selected hotels with good regional cuisine provide for a good regeneration between the stages. After 5 stages, countless new impressions and bike experiences, a great closing party with raffle awaits the participants, guides and event team in Kranjska Gora. On the last day there will be a very nice final stage around the Slovenian starting point instead of a tedious return transport.
