Rossignol Pursuit: The next technological step of the slope line

In the past two years, the focus was once on the freeride skis with the Air-Tip concept and the other time the new Prop Tech technology, which was introduced last year with the new Hero race series. This winter, the piste skis, which have somewhat fallen behind in recent years, are back in the foreground.

Prop Tech Technology
The new Pursuit models now inherit the Prop Tech technology originating from the Hero racing series. Developed in line with the new FIS determinations of curve radii, Prop Tech technology is a transverse Skiflex release system. The vertical, milled grooves in the metal laminate of the top layer, which are pulled all the way into the shovel on the Pursuit models, provide more adaptive torsional flex for greater control, smoother turn initiation, more direct power transfer, improved edge contact and greater precision. In short, the skis are sportier, faster, grippier and smoother.

Power Turn Rocker
The Pursuit models are equipped with a light, but sporty rocker. The shovel deflection is low at 10 %. The conventional chamber measures 90% of ski length and delivers power and edge grip for sporty riding. The fine rocker tip delivers simplified turn initiation.

Oversized waist
The Pursuit models feature an oversized waist. This construction combines deep carving waists with modern widths for precise edge feel, stability and control. The oversized tip and tail widths deliver strong edge grip, power and precision, while the wider waists provide more stability and control.

With center widths between 71 and 74 mm, you move practically exclusively on the slopes. The new models not only look top, but are fast, sporty, grippy and smooth.
