New opening of the Cloud 9 store in Winterthur

What was started 19 years ago at Lagerplatz 7 as a sole proprietorship by Chris Spörri has in the meantime grown into a company with 7 employees. This summer, store employee Philipp Buck successfully completed the course to become an apprentice and thus Dominik Wiesmann was hired as the first apprentice in the company.

In addition to the store, Cloud 9 runs a snowboard and skateboard production under the label Factory 9. Iouri Podladtchikov, Pat Burgener, David Hablützel, Jonas Bösiger, Verena Rohrer are just a few of the snowboard pros who rely on the craftsmanship and know-how of Chris Spörri and Philipp Gossweiler. However, it is possible for every customer to put together his board and have it made with his own design. In the new Snowboard Corner in the store there is detailed information about the possibilities.

Advice, exchange of experience, service and personal contact with customers has always been very important and welcome in the Cloud 9 store. Sometimes certainly a reason for many interesting encounters and satisfied and loyal customers from all over Switzerland.

The new media are used in many ways and integrated in the store. Via the online store (www.cloud-9.ch), which displays the entire product range and also accepts orders from smartphones or tablets, the desired products can simply be delivered to the customer's home. In addition, a new virtual store tour on google maps, a live display of Facebook and Instagram likes in the store, a game with Factory 9 boards and many other interesting digital networking features will soon be introduced. Simon Frei and Max Schwarz from the sales department are on the road all over Switzerland for the company in the B2B area and were able to bring in their experience from the market in a fitting way.

Year-round concept
Miriam Widmeier and her sales team enjoy the larger space: "The range has become more detailed and varied and is now available all year round. Whether a bikini and surfboard in winter or skis and ski touring skins in early summer, such products and the advice on them are now available in our store during all four seasons."

New opening with the Swiss Snowboard Pro Team and sound from the VW Bus
On Saturday, October 28, the store doors are open between 10:00 and 17:00. With a little luck, you can meet the Swiss Snowboard Pro Team, win an attractive prize in the raffle or enjoy a drink to the sound of the VW bus. The Cloud 9 team is looking forward to welcoming numerous guests at the Sulzer area. It is recommended to use public transport or to park your car in a nearby parking garage, because on this day there will be no parking space in front of the store.
