Intersport and Bergbahnen Flumserberg strengthen cooperation

Intersport Flumserberg owner Markus Güller and Bergbahnen Flumserberg AG (BBF) have agreed to join forces and work even more closely together from spring 2019. BBF will take over the Tannenheim and Prodalp locations. Markus Güller will concentrate on the Tannenboden site. Services and offers are to complement each other and cooperation will be strengthened.

For many years, Markus Güller has successfully and competently operated his sports store "Intersport Flumserberg" in the BBF premises at the Tannenheim and Prodalp locations. At the third location - Tannenboden - Markus Güller has made a name for himself in recent years, especially with his "shoe clinic". For its part, BBF and its subsidiary BBF Sport&Touristik, headed by Philipp Syfrig, are responsible for the Intersport Walensee sports store in the resort on Lake Walen and for the BikerShop Tannenheim in the summer for the past two years. The two sports store partners have been working together successfully for years.

BBF takes over Tannenheim and Prodalp sites
In order to implement Markus Güller's wish to reduce the personal workload and intensity, the parties have agreed that BBF Sport&Touristik AG - and thus Philipp Syfrig - will take over responsibility for the operation of the Tannenheim and Prodalp sites from May 2019. The main focus of the previous offer is to be maintained. At the Tannenheim location, these are rental of skis, snowboards and sleds, sharpening and edge service, and sales of accessories. In summer, the BikerShop Tannenheim, as the first national test center of intercycle, offers everything a biker's heart desires. Bikes (rent and test) protectors, helmets, clothing and accessories. At the Prodalp location, guests are provided with the latest skis and snowboards for testing in winter - in addition to the sale of accessories.

Focus on shoe clinic and expert advice
In the future, Markus Güller wants to concentrate on his Tannenboden location during the winter half-year. In addition to the well-known shoe clinic for ski, touring and snowboard boots, his customers will continue to find a wide range of products from all winter sports. Hardware, textile and accessories. Of course, all snow sports equipment for on and off piste can still be rented. Service work on snow sports equipment is carried out at the BBF partner Tannenheim.

After the coming winter 2018/19, this alignment at Flumserberg will ensure professional and modern sporting goods services for the future, the cooperation will be strengthened and by using synergies, a win-win situation is created for both partners - BBF and Markus Güller - but also for all Flumserberg guests.
