Formula1 - Belgian Grand Prix

Although Hamilton had taken pole position in qualifying and also got away well at the start, it only took a few corners for Vettel to catch Hamilton and claim a near-start-finish victory. From this point of view, the roles between the leader and the chasers were once again clearly distributed. For one or the other spectator, boredom can set in under such circumstances, because obviously Red Bull is clearly superior to the competition at the moment. Bad luck for Kimi Raikkonen: a brake problem threw him backwards and forced him to retire early after an overtaking maneuver. Pleasing and surprising was the drive of Fernando Alonso, who started the race far behind from 9th on the grid, but pushed his way into the top 5 at the start to find himself in 2nd place at the end after one overtaking maneuver after another. It seems Ferrari's management gave him a good firing under the butt after his "slip-up". So the car is good for silver, even for gold? We'll see in the next few races. The dreaded weather capers that would have made the race turbulent failed to materialize, which is why the race proceeded in a calm manner. In the end, the current leaders Vettel, Alonso and Hamilton found themselves on the podium. If the other teams don't now fire a special rocket and catch up with the Red Bull team, we can count on one hand what the name of the next world champion will be. And for the sake of suspense, we have to hope for it. The next chance is Monza from 6-8 September 2013.
