Elan Spectrum: Stylish freeride machine

If in recent years we've been looking at the Slovenian ski brand's unique Amphibio collection, this season these stylish freeride boards have caught our eye and they just please. Because among the friends of powder, there are not only gummy bear-eating freeride kids who love deep snow laths decorated with comics or girls, but also really cool guys who have it going on and are into style and design. This new Spectrum line was probably made for these "coolies". The design is unique, calm, stylish, timeless, intense, powerful and elegant all in one. Compliments to the designer! And caution: Who also like these slats be warned, this design's this winter, so 2013/14. In the following winter, the design will be replaced again by new designs, which in my personal opinion do not come close to this collection, so my advice to all interested: Strike!

But also technologically the ski has a lot to offer, in it there is a lot of innovation. For one thing, the models have the shovel and ski ends with the Amphibio technology designed by Elan, which means that the outer sides of the shovel and ski end are provided with rocker and the inner sides are not, so that the inside has full edge grip, the outside has rocker lift. Since the rocker is not symmetrical, this creates a left-hand ski and a right-hand ski. Therefore, for easy identification, the rockered side of the ski ends and the shovel, which are on the outside, are marked in black. Black must be on the outside, then it's right. The construction of the tips Elan has given the noble name "Diamond", fits in this case to the noble skis. The pointed shape of the shovel - Diamond Tip - cuts through the snow, the tip of the ski ends is slightly flatter - Diamond Tail - which makes it easier to dive into deep snow. All models have a high-quality wood core, although three models (yellow, green and blue) are additionally equipped with "Alublade" technology. This means that on the inside of the ski an additional aluminum layer is applied over the wood core, which additionally increases the edge grip and thus the driving control.

The result is five stylish freeride laths in the usual masses that have such powder skis, made of high quality materials and equipped with a very special technology that should increase the driving pleasure. But you have to try them out for yourself!
