Pendix e-bike motor: stylish & silent

Pendix is the name of a new retrofit kit from Germany that turns your bike into an e-bike. Not only the stylish design speak for Pendix, but also the easy handling. The drive is simply inserted into a standard bottom bracket, so it fits almost all bikes. The battery is attached to the cup holder screw connection, ready is the conversion, that's it!

The Pendix is absolutely silent and the bike turned into an e-bike behaves like a regular bicycle. The drive should be very easy to use, that is the principle of the Pendix, so it comes without a display and has only a large on / off switch by the battery. The charging capacity is indicated by four luminous colors by LED ring, super stylish and simple. In Switzerland, the kit costs CHF 1,690.00. For more info, the Swiss importer has www.rasant.ch.

A detailed report can currently be found on the E-Bike Guide.

Hello Mr. Hasenfratz, the 500 Wh motor will be available from April 2017. I hope to be able to present this at the Urban Bike Festival from 7 - 9 April 2017 in Zurich. The software "learns" the riding behavior of the owner and thus achieves optimal pedaling performance. The pedal assist works directly on pedal pressure without gearing, which can lead to night drifting in the strongest assist mode. The Pendix-equipped bike can be ridden effortlessly without assistance, precisely because there is no gearbox to move. I would be happy to advise you at the Urban Bike Festival.
