Dynastar Vertical Mythic: New lightweight in the touring range

Dynastar has been strong in the freeride and touring sectors for years. The highlight of this winter among the touring models of the French ski manufacturer is the new "Vertical Mythic". While last winter it was the Mythic that made a name for itself as a new backcounty freetouring ski, this winter it's the Vertical Mythic that, with its ultra-light weight of just 2 kg/pair, combines the racing characteristics of a sport touring ski with the deep snow capability of a freetourer. Responsible for this is on the one hand the new ultra-light core, which consists of a mixture of ultra-light Paulownia wood and foam, and on the other hand a new generation of carbon fibers, which Dynastar leads under the term "Carbon Ply". Here, the carbon is flattened and braided diagonally. This structure significantly reduces the weak points of carbon in terms of elasticity and resistance, while significantly reducing the weight. The range of use of the new Vertical Mythic is very large, it is an all-rounder for classic ski tourers, speed tourers and downhill enthusiasts and is clearly one of the best in its field.
