What led to irritated eyebrow-twitching a few years ago has long been established today, even if everyone wants to understand something different by the term "all-mountain" ski. Actually, the industry was looking for new ways to sell skis to counteract declining ski sales. By adding a rocker - a strengthened upturn of the ski - to the previous carving skis, the ski became more versatile and could be used on the "whole" mountain, i.e. piste and deep snow. This created the new category "all-mountain ski". Thanks to a slightly higher central width than conventional carving skis, the presence of rocker and other technologies, the skis are characterized by a versatile use both on hard slopes and in powder snow passages.
Rossignol Experience
Versatility is everything
The Experience models from Rossignol are well established in the market, after all, they are constantly being developed. Last winter, not only the design or shape was changed, but also new technologies such as LCT technology or "Air Tip Vas" were incorporated into the ski to improve its grip and performance on the slopes. For the 9th winter in a row, the French ski brand proves the highest level when it comes to designing a perfect all-mountain ski.
Elan Amphibio
Allmountain for asymmetry friends
The "Amphibio" technology is unique and established in the market. Since their first appearance, the skis have made a real name for themselves thanks to their asymmetrically designed rocker on the outsides of the skis. In 2019/20, the line splits a bit, with the narrower models (73/76 mm) continuing under the Amphibio line. The wider models have undergone technological development and are making a new appearance in the Wingman line. The skis impress with their turning ability, speed and stability, which is why they are clearly aimed at piste skiers.

Elan Wingman
The new Allmountain line 2019/20
As already mentioned with the Amphibio series, the wider Amphibio models (78-86 mm) have been transferred to the new Wingman series, because the rocker profile is still the proven Amphibio profile, but the Wingman models are also technologically different from the Amphibio models. In particular, technologies from the Ripstick models were used in the construction. This concerns in particular the carbon tubes that run through the core, making it lighter and providing good rebound. In addition, the new Wingman models have been provided with a lightweight shovel to take any possible inertia out of the ski and increase the turning pleasure. Overall, a new exciting line of skis from Elan has been created, aimed at all-mountain enthusiasts.

Fischer RC One
Just a year ago, Fischer Sports had a line for classic carver skis and a separate line for all-mountain skis. Since all-mountain skis from European ski manufacturers usually deviate only slightly from the masses of carver skis and are only equipped with a slight rocker ski, it makes sense to combine these two previously separate segments into one and thus increase the clarity of Fischer ski models. So the wider the ski model is under the binding, the more likely it is to be an all-mountain model. It's easy to remember. Here we present the three wider RC One models, which are designed as all-mountain skis.
G3 ROAMr
Lightweight allmountain skis
Even if you love off-piste, you still don't have to give up the slopes. The hybrid models for both areas of use are called Roamr at G3. They are light, wide and easy to turn.
Lusti CWR
The CWR series is Lusti's all-mountain line with rocker technology. For the Swiss market, the CWR 84 with 84 mm center width is available, which thus covers a wide range of applications on various snow bases.
Swiss Massive Allmountain
Handmade allmountain carver
Even though the model "Allmountain" does not use a rocker, swiss massiv calls this model "Allmountain", because the widest model with a center width of 80 mm, thanks to its soft shovel and its width already provides decent lift and also passages with powder snow grown. The fiber bamboo sidewalls provide good edge grip over the entire running surface of the ski.

Radical Allmountain
Handmade allmountain carbon ski
The handmade all-mountain skis are by their nature a little wider and surfier than Radical carving models. The lightness of the skis based on the carbon philosophy support the buoyancy in soft snow next to the tip rocker and the slightly wider shape, which provides better displacement.
Rossignol Experience Women
Allmountain fun for ski ladies
The Experience line is also considered established among women, because the women's models are also constantly evolving. Last winter, the new LCT technology was added or the "Air Tip Vas" technology, which were built into the ski models to improve grip and performance on the slopes. For the Experience Women models, the specially developed VAS Women technology was also incorporated for low vibration. In 2019/20, the models come in a cool new look.
Dynastar Speed Zone 4x4
Allmountain models
The Speed Zone models are established carving skis from Dynastar. In 2019/20, Dynastar splits the model line into the "Speed Zone" piste models and the "Speed Zone 4×4" all-mountain models to clearly define the ski model's area of application.
Dynastar Intense 4x4
Allmountain models for skiladys
What is done with the Speed Zone models for men is now also done with the Intense models for women: They're splitting them into more piste-oriented models and all-mountain models that are a bit more versatile. 4×4 is a great way to describe the ability to handle a lot of snow....
Amplid Time Machine
The model "Time Machine" is the only all-mountain ski of the Amplid brand. A virtually classic shape and the bias profile ensure that the giant slalom ski is primarily at home on the slopes, where it shines with agility and precision. Thanks to its high average width of 90 mm, it also masters soft passages and powder snow without much effort, but it is not a deep snow crack.
RTC Crossride
The Crossride models are handmade carving skis with a slightly wider center width, closing the gap to all-mountain skis. The models are easy to turn and are characterized by a softer flex.
