Since the launch of the original Yamaha YZF-R1, Yamaha R-Series models have left their mark in the Supersport class especially with the two models YZF-R1 and YZF-R6 of the last generation, which enjoyed great success in Supersport.
New GYTR Performance Products for YZF-R1 and YZF-R6
Developed exclusively by Yamaha engineers, GYTR (Genuine Yamaha Technology Racing) performance products have given Yamaha off-road racers a real advantage for over 15 years. In the road racing arena, it was the YEC brand that provided success with its racing accessories. Now, the two brands are merging in 2018 to create a global brand that will help customers convert their motorcycles into racing machines.
Developed exclusively for closed-course racing, the wide range of GYTR Performance products is powered by the same performance-enhancing technology that took Yamaha's R-Series to the top of the Endurance World Championship, the Suzuka 8 Hours or the 2017 WorldSSP title.
Yamaha's GYTR Performance products take the R-Series Supersport experience to a new level, giving every racer the opportunity to realize the bike's full potential on the race course. All GYTR Performance products are developed in-house, receiving input from factory-supported race teams. Therefore, all YZF-R1 and YZF-R6 riders can have complete confidence in the quality, durability and performance of every GYTR component.
