The bike department of intercycle AG gets reinforcement

The graduated industrial designer Christian Vollmer strengthens the bike department of intercycle AG in Sursee. He officially starts his engagement at intercycle as of January 1, 2018 and shall be strongly involved in the product design and product development of BiXS and WHEELER.

Born in Hesse, he is a passionate mountain biker and graduated as an industrial designer from Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences between 2005 and 2010. In the past four years he was employed by the company RTI Sports GmbH, where he was most recently responsible for the design of various bike components of the brands Ergon and Terry in the position "Head of Industrial Design".

"Christian Vollmer is an ideal appointment for intercycle AG in the rapidly growing e-bike sector," says team leader Martin Birrer. The intercycle product management team is thus further strengthened in product design and is convinced that it will be able to meet the growing needs of its products. Vollmer will be involved in the entire development process (development, engineering, testing, ready to market) and can therefore often be found on the trails with brand ambassadors Nick Beer, Stefan Peter, Konny Looser, Tim Bratschi and many more.

"With Vollmer we will not only bring great e-bikes to the market, but also launch exciting all-mountain and enduro bikes in the non-motorized sector," promises Managing Director Walter Schärli.
