SummerAttack on the Flumserberg for teams and families

On Sunday, August 20, 2017, the Flumserberg will once again host the team event "SummerAttack" for the fourth time and the "SummerAttack family" event for families for the second time. This is a sporting fun event, where the fun and entertainment are in the foreground.

Adjusted route for the Bank Linth SummerAttack
The routes have been slightly defused compared to the last years. The steep final climb of the first biker to Prodkamm is omitted, the first transition area was moved to Panüöl. The other routes have also been adapted. As a highlight, the finish biker rides over the new biker trails RedFox and RedRock from Prodkamm to Tannenboden to the finish. The modified route is especially suitable for hobby athletes, who can prove their team spirit. As in previous years, the relay can be completed in teams of 2 or 4.

Hit the star
This year, participants in the Bank Linth SummerAttack have the opportunity to compete with athletes and musicians in keeping with the motto "BEAT THE STAR". Julie Zogg, professional snowboarder of the SC Flumserberg, will take on the Panüöl biker's course before sending the likeable, young pop singer Vincent Gross on the course as Maschgenkamm runner. On the Maschgenkamm, he hands over to fellow musician and Prodkamm runner Miss Helvetia. On the Prodkamm, professional mountain biker and Flumserberg ambassador René Wildhaber swings himself onto his bike and tackles the biker trails of the finish biker.

SummerAttack family with Flumsi, Flumsina and Ticki
After the successful launch of the SummerAttack family last year, the family fun competition is going into the second round. Supported by Flumsi, Flumsina and the SBB mascot Ticki, the children start into the fun course accompanied by the adults. Two short bike and run courses with fun obstacles around the Tannenboden finish area will each be run through twice by a child and an adult together. Families can start in teams of 2, 3 or 4. All teams will be judged in one category. Thanks to the transport partner SBB AG, families who travel by public transport can start for free. Just show your ticket at the start number counter. In addition, they have the opportunity to purchase the bikes on site from the BikerShop Flumserberg.

Spectators
The athletes are looking forward to support on the course and at the transition areas Panüöl, Maschgenkamm and Prodkamm. A shuttle bus will run from Tannenboden to Tannenheim and back so that fans can watch the exciting mass start and be back at Tannenboden in time for the finish. The winning team of the Bank Linth SummerAttack is expected at the finish line on Tannenboden shortly before noon. Afterwards, the Pastaplausch in the tent, the concerts by Vincent Gross and Miss Helvetia and the SummerAttack family around the finish area invite you to linger.
