The "Famous" model series is being relaunched this winter and replaces the former "Unique" line. Rossignol has been designing women-specific skis for years that accommodate women's anatomy in terms of shape, construction and choice of materials. The new models have been equipped with new technology.
Prop Tip Technology
This is the new "Prop Tip" technology, which is used for the first time in women's skis. This refers to the new construction of the tip and tail of the ski with a honeycomb-like structure filled with air. This makes the ski ends lighter and shifts the weight toward the center of the ski, making it easier to turn. The skis are more maneuverable and the turn becomes easier, but stability is maintained.
In addition, the "Power Turn" rocker provides lift and ease of swing. The Power Turn Rocker is a low rocker (rocker = ski bend) of 10% on the shovel. This ensures the sportiness of the ski. The wood core made of ultra-light Paulownia wood is largely responsible for the low weight. The Famous models are fast, sporty, light, feminine and 100% slope models for women. The models differ in appearance, mass, weight, construction and manufacturer's suggested retail price (MSRP). What they all have in common is fun on the slopes.
