Rossignol 7-Series - with new Carbon Alloy Matrix

Not only visually are the freeride models, which are grouped under the name "7-Series", a highlight, no, also the unique "Air Tip" technology patented by Rossignol made a splash when he introduced the skis. The lightweight Paulownia wood and the stronger powder turn rocker provide the best lift in deep snow. New here, too, the Carbon Alloy Matrix was installed in 3 of 4 models. For friends of the Powder!

Air Tip

A technology patented by Rossignol, in which the shovel has a honeycomb-like structure filled with air. This makes the shovel lighter and shifts the weight towards the center of the ski, which produces improved maneuverability and ease of turning.

Paulownia wood

Individual models have a wooden core made of paulownia wood. Paulownia wood is about 30% lighter than other common types of wood used in ski production, which of course makes the ski even more maneuverable.

Free Vas

Perfect symbiosis of paulownia wood core and air-tip blade, provides smoothness and low vibration when switching from one type of snow to another and better control of the ski.

Powder Turn Rocker

The Powder Turn Rocker is one of three types of rocker that Rossignol uses. The shovel and ski ends of 50% are equipped with rocker and 50% has classic preload under the ski binding. The strong rocker on the shovel provides the buoyancy iom deep snow, the rocker at the ski end for easier turning and better ride control.

Carbon Alloy Matrix

A new fabric that heralds a new era of highly efficient materials for the construction of skis. Carbon Alloy Matrix is a combination of carbon and basalt fibers. Carbon provides lift, lightness and good power transmission, basalt provides stability and impact absorption. The new fabric increases the performance, grip, precision, stability and maneuverability of the ski.

Minicap sandwich

The ultra-strong construction appears with wood core, 30° sidewalls, fiberglass and high-tech laminates. The Mini Caps protect the ski tips and prevent damage with improved durability. The sidewalls are 30′ turned up, which improves swing weight and reduces overall ski weight for better edge grip and resistance.

Centered Sidecut

A shorter waist just under the boot combined with a unique beveled tip and tail. The deep radius under the boot provides edge grip and power where you need it, while the shorter lengths of the waist allow for easy and playful steering.

Cap

ROSSITOP tip caps strengthen the ski, protect it against damage and make it more resistant with faster reaction.
