NHL 16: the next generation!

In doing so, it is important to the producers to create a realistic and exciting ice hockey experience for the video gamers. This includes the typical atmosphere in the stadium, the natural gestures and movements of the players, which you have to be able to control precisely and quickly, the same great game experience whether as a forward, defender or goalkeeper, or the possibility to slip into the role of the manager for once. All this and much more is offered by the new NHL 16. Here is a brief overview of the new features:

New team play options:

The New EASHL
Sharpen your skates and round up your friends, because the EA SPORTS Hockey League is back! The popular online team mode has been revamped and now allows you to select specialized player classes that ensure a balanced and challenging gameplay experience. The skills of the players and their interaction as a team will determine victory and defeat in the future.

6 v. 6 Online Team Play
Play online with up to 12 players, including user-controlled goalies. Participate in fast-paced ranked matches with real NHL squads against players from around the world, or invite your friends to a private OTP session before trying your luck in the EA SPORTS Hockey League.

Online Couch Co-op
It's the perfect mode if you want to pop on the couch with your friends for some quick games online. This way you can hone your team play skills before venturing into the OTS or EASHL.

Be a GM: Player Morale
A GM not only has to sign the best players, but at the same time make sure the right players play well together. All the players on your NHL and AHL team have different personalities that you have to deal with. Deal with trade requests, player ratios and many other aspects by calling team meetings or adjusting your roster to directly impact your team's performance on the ice.

Be a Pro: Shape Your Legacy
Your play style determines the type of player you become within a brand new Be-a-Pro progression system. Your actions on the ice directly affect your attributes, ensuring that your pro reflects the way you play. Plus, you can simulate the game in NHL 16 until your next shift or work your way up from CHL rookie to NHL superstar.

Single Player Seasons
The most popular game mode in the NHL series gets even better. Improved player management and the introduction of the HUT single-player seasons give you another opportunity to optimize your skills before venturing into the HUT online seasons or challenging your friends to a match.

Visual On-Ice Training
Whether you're new to the NHL or a seasoned veteran looking to perfect your game, this new training tool lets you improve your defensive and offensive skills regardless of your talent level. Visual aids show shot targets, passing routes, free teammates, and more.

Precision Skating
A new skating tool allows your player to make perfect moves in any situation. Drive quickly into passing lanes on defense to intercept the puck, or lurk at the blue line on the overtime play to hammer the puck into the net on a direct shot.

Seamless puck pickups
The ability to quickly control a pass or free puck can be critical when it comes to creating or thwarting a scoring chance. The new puck receipts allow for seamless transitions when receiving the puck, regardless of your position. This gives you more time and control for your next action.

The best arena atmosphere ever is made even better thanks to authentic arena effects, team-specific goal celebrations, mascots, chants and props like the lighthouse at the Xcel Energy Center in Minnesota.
