From July 2017 the time has come: After fundamental renovation and expansion, the Hotel Winkler in Stefansdorf, St. Lorenzen opens its doors again for demanding families. With luxuriously designed suites, a panorama spa and alpine fitness and sports facilities, the Winkler is advancing to become the premium spa resort for the whole family in South Tyrol's Pustertal Valley.

Whether sports and wellness in nature or cultural excursions to nearby Bruneck - at the gateway to the Dolomites, the new Winkler combines the best of both worlds, including the panoramic view over the gentle Pustertal valley and the UNESCO World Natural Heritage of the South Tyrolean mountains. For vacationers the ideal starting point to discover the alpine nature in all its facets. "As an adventure-hungry family with children, we ourselves have long been looking for a place that gives parents and children at the same time an unforgettable vacation. While adults are looking for relaxation, wellness and sports, for children up to teenage years entertainment and variety are usually in the foreground. Vacation opportunities in the middle of nature that combine both are hard to find. With our new expansion we wanted to achieve exactly that. On a total area of 3,500 square meters, guests now discover an experience world of water, wellness and beauty treatments. A proud 500 square meters of water surface - 7 indoor and outdoor pools, a 20-meter panoramic pool, a 25-meter outdoor infinity pool and a brine whirlpool - invite you to dive into the mountains. Also new is the event sauna with panoramic relaxation room, the adult spa and exclusive spa suites for luxurious couple treatments. In the rooms, the pampering program continues. After an eventful day in the mountains, family suites with separate bedrooms for up to four children await. The Suite Natura pampers its guests with its own private sauna and the Love Suites are the ideal retreat for lovers with XL shower, champagne bar and outdoor whirlpool.
The varied activity program ensures exercise in nature: five times a week there are guided mountain and e-bike tours as well as guided hiking and mountain tours with in-house guides, weekly pleasure bike tours with the Outdoor Center Kronplatz. High-quality Cube mountain bikes or Kalkhoff e-bikes can be rented directly from Hotel Winkler. For teenagers, the 150-square-meter fun sports gym, the outdoor fun court or the indoor climbing and bouldering wall with modern safety systems offer additional action. This will not be neglected during the sports camps until 02.09.2017 and from 30.09. to 04.11.2017.
South Tyrol is not only world-famous for its nature, but also for its cuisine. Alpine coziness and Italian sophistication can be enjoyed in the four restaurants with panoramic views of the Puster Valley or in the Tyrolean Stube.
