KJUS pop-up store opens on Zurich's Bahnhofstrasse

At a time when other store owners are thinking of quitting, especially in the sports industry, the Kjus brand is opening a new store on the most expensive street in Switzerland, Zurich's Bahnhofstrasse.

Thursday, October 26, 2017, was when the KJUS brand opened its new pop-up store in the former Franz Carl Weber building on Zurich's Bahnhofstrasse. According to them, the Swiss sportswear company produces the most technologically advanced ski apparel on the market. Founders are entrepreneur Didi Serena and Olympic champion Lasse Kjus. CEO Nico Serena and former ski racer and brand ambassador Didier Cuche were present at the opening. The company's partners are watch brand Hublot and AK Ski, which are present in the pop-up store with unique pieces.

KJUS was founded in 2000 by Lasse Kjus and Didi Serena. The brand stands for sportswear made of innovative materials in the unmistakable, clean and timeless KJUS design. Behind the ski, golf and active collections, which have already won several awards, are proven experts and passionate athletes. Professionals like Didier Cuche test the products. With the launch of the first stretch ski pants, the two founders have shaken up the market. For the 2017/2018 winter collection, KJUS developed the world's first knitted ski jacket. This is twice as stretchy as normal, woven ski jackets. Likewise, the high-quality wool fabrics of the Italian fashion label Loro Piana were incorporated into weatherproof ski clothing and the jackets, parkas and coats of the lifestyle collection.

KJUS was founded on a joint idea by Olympic champion and ski star Lasse Kjus and Swiss entrepreneur Didi Serena. Driven by enthusiasm for the sport and a vision of never compromising on product development, KJUS continues to push the boundaries of what is possible. With every hem, every fabric and every detail, KJUS is shaping the future of sportswear. The goal is clear: to allow the athlete to fully concentrate on the moment and improve their performance.

KJUS is headquartered in Hünenberg (Zug/Switzerland) and distributes its collections through selected retail partners in 32 countries. The company has been in business since 2000 and now employs 100 people worldwide, 70 of them in Hünenberg. KJUS has subsidiaries in North America, Germany and Austria.
