K2 Remedy
Last year's Remedy series will also be continued in 2015/16. K2 is the brand among the major ski brands that stands especially for "fun on the mountain" and successfully works the segments all-mountain, freeride and touring. In addition to the Luv models, K2 offers the Remedy models for freeride ladies. Here, the shovel and ski end are relatively strongly bent up, as in a TwinTip ski, which gives them high maneuverability and makes them ideal for jumps. Ladies who want to surf and jump through the powder choose these models.

All terrain rocker
As the name suggests, this type of rocker from K2 stands for use in all types of terrain. The All-Terrain Rocker™ has a slightly raised shovel for optimum performance in variable and soft snow and enough preload under the binding for plenty of precision and edge grip on icy slopes and hard snow.
Powder Tip
This new Twin Tip specific construction increases the durability of sidewall skis. In a traditional sidewall construction, the top sheet and the side face are at a 90° angle to each other. This sharp angle is susceptible to damage. In contrast, the new Twin Tech construction overlaps the top sheet and sidewall, creating a flatter angle and better protecting the ski from damage.

Bioflex wood core
The BioFlex wood core is a wood core developed for women's skis, in which denser aspen wood is used in the side areas and the lighter Paulownia wood combined with a bamboo stringer is installed in the middle. This reduces the weight of the ski and makes it easier to turn in. In addition, the denser aspen wood on the side provides stability and good edge grip.
Triaxial Braiding
Triaxial Braiding was developed by K2 in 1988 and is still considered the best process for joining fiberglass to a wood core. In this process, a pre-treated wood core is passed through a patented Triaxial Braiding machine, which wraps it with pre-braided fiberglass strands. This unique method produces skis with perfectly tuned torsional stiffness, and a forgiving character, without sacrificing the dynamics and lively flex of the wood core
