K2 Pinnacle
2 years ago, K2 introduced the Pinnacle line to the market with three models that feature a flat, elongated rocker on the shovel and tail of the ski. Excitingly, these models also feature the new Konic technology (see Allmountain models). Three models today feature a super-light composite core with NANOlite technology from space technology with lower density, which facilitate the swing-in. In the side area, the strong wood core provides edge grip and stability. After last year's addition of the 88 model, 2017/18 sees the addition of the Pinnacle 85, a freeride ski for the slopes. The good look, the surf shape and the sophisticated technology provide powerful fun on and off the slopes. Fun surfing, what more do freeriders want!

K2 ski technology
Konic technology
K2 has developed a completely new ski core concept with the new Konic technology. A dense core is installed on the sides of the ski, while a lightweight core is used in the middle of the ski. This improves edge grip, stability and power transmission when swinging in the area of the edges and reduces swing weight in the middle, making it easier to swing. Refined!
All terrain rocker
As the name suggests, this type of rocker from K2 stands for use in all types of terrain. The All-Terrain Rocker™ has a slightly raised shovel for optimum performance in variable and soft snow and enough preload under the binding for plenty of precision and edge grip on icy slopes and hard snow.
Powder Rocker
This is the rocker for deep snow - our widest skis get maximum lift from it at the shovel and "surf" over and through everything the terrain has to offer. The normal preload under the binding provides sufficient edge grip and control on harder snow and on the slopes.
Metal laminate
The ski has a lightweight titanium alloy that runs along the entire length of the ski above and below the core. Only the highest quality ski models from K2 are equipped with this most complex structure. Starting from the base, this construction consists of alternating layers of fiberglass and titanium wrapped around the wood core. Metal laminate provides superior damping, stability, torsional stiffness and precise and uncompromising performance for sporty all-mountain skiers.
Hybritech sidewall
Hybritech is the unique combination of a sidewall and a cap construction. It combines the precision, power and performance of a sidewall under the binding with the lightness and smooth turn initiation of a cap construction.
Triaxial Braiding
Triaxial Braiding was developed by K2 in 1988 and is still considered the best process for joining fiberglass to a wood core. In this process, a pre-treated wood core is passed through a patented Triaxial Braiding machine, which wraps it with pre-braided fiberglass strands. This unique method produces skis with perfectly tuned torsional stiffness, and a forgiving character, without sacrificing the dynamics and lively flex of the wood core
Dear Sir or Madam,
can I order from you in adhesive fur mixed synthetic fiber / mohair for the K2 Pinnacle 95, L = 184, 132-95-115 mm?

Good morning Mr. Friedl
Thank you for your request. Unfortunately not at the moment, we are just setting up our store. Since you are from Austria - at least according to your email address - you should look around in the Austrian trade.
However, if necessary, we have the contact to the importer in Switzerland, if you get stuck. Then simply write to us again.
With kind regards
Rolf Fleckenstein
