Global Partnership of Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and Under Armour

As part of the long-term partnership, Johnson will work hand-in-hand with the innovative performance brand to produce a range of products from footwear to apparel and accessories. Additionally, the U.S. superstar will support the UNDER ARMOUR Connected Fitness initiative.

The multi-faceted partnership between actor Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and UNDER ARMOUR includes the joint development of original content inspired by the actor's lifestyle, fitness classes as well as his social initiatives. Johnson will additionally play a key role in unveiling UNDER ARMOUR's new Connected Fitness platforms, which include the new UNDER ARMOUR HealthBox and the UA Record app. Additionally, the sports brand will launch product lines in footwear, apparel and accessories
develop products inspired by Johnson's current films. The first product line will feature a backpack inspired by " The Rock" as well as a sports bag. The products will be available on UA.com and at select Brand Houses in the coming weeks.

To gain more support and attention for the brand's social projects around UA Freedom, UNDER ARMOUR will involve the actor more here in the future. UA Freedom was created to honor and support members of the U.S. military, first responders and public safety bodies.

Following his career as a WWE wrestling fighter, which included seven WWE Champion titles, Johnson has solidified his role as a global crowd-pleaser in recent years. He was ranked number one on Forbes' Top Grossing Actors list in 2013 and was named a Top International Box Office Star in 2015 as the actor whose films had the highest box office takings in a single year. Following last year's successful run, Johnson will star in the 2016 film Central Intelligence. He is also currently working on the production of the second season of the TV series Ballers. He received the 2016 People's Choice Award for Best Actor in Cable Television for his series role as a former football player.

Johnson joins the team at UNDER ARMOUR All-Stars. They include Stephen Curry, Tom Brady, Cam Newton, Misty Copeland, Jordan Spieth, Lindsey Vonn, Andy Murray and Michael Phelps. The Rock will also showcase his workouts via the connected fitness app UA Record and provide exclusive insights with training tips and content.
