Whether you are more the Active or just need a place to read through all 180 Star Trek novels published by Cross Cult is irrelevant. But a bit Air change is definitely good for a change. So then: pack your bags and off to Sardinia.

How to get to Sardinia?
If you have 17 hours and 46 minutes, the route Thalwil to the Metropolitan city of Cagliari, the capital of Sardinia, by car. The alternative: a flight. This lasts then, depending on the provider and type between one hour and forty minutes (nonstop) and at least three hours for the multistop variant, but it does not matter. At some point it is so far and you can go on Sardinia vacation in vacation home make

What housing options exist on the island?
Fincas, so a vacation home with pool? There would be about the Emerald Coast own. This area called "Costa Smeralda" is located in the north of the island, near the city of Olbia. However, these properties are also available outside the capital Cagliari, in the South of the island.

At Center the Island, for example the city Nuoro, it is then mostly Apartmentswhich offer a home to those seeking relaxation. And even these accommodations, designed for two or three people, usually have several bathrooms, a roof terrace or courtyard. And you don't have to do without a swimming pool. Nevertheless, at some point the family or one's own urge to be active drives one outside. Then you stand on the terrace, the surroundings are at your feet and you ask yourself: "What do we do now?"

What can you experience in Sardinia?
Of course, that depends on where you are. Near Cagliari it would already be advisable to take a look at the historical Village center to visit. This one is called "Il Castello" and the thick city walls that surrounded that place are still in good state of preservation. And then there is the Torre dell'Elefante, the entrance gate to the old town, and the defensive tower "Torre di San Pancrazio".

Or how about the Nuraghe Su Nuraxi? This is the largest complex uncovered so far that belongs to a so-called "nuraghe", i.e. to a tower construction from prehistoric, respectively early historic times. From Cagliari this would be about an hour's drive.

And speaking of historic places: Nora is an ancient city, outside Pula. Located on a narrow peninsula, it was founded by the Phoenicians and conquered by the Romans in 238 BC.

Then there would be the Grotta del Bue Marino. This is located in the Gulf of Orosei, at the foot of the so-called Supramonte mountain. Those interested here have the opportunity to experience a cave that is divided into two parts. There is the northern part. This one must be reached on foot, during a walk that lasts about forty minutes. To do this, follow a small sign posted on a stairway that leads to the cove of Cala Fuili. The south branch can be reached by boat. There are boat tours offered in Cala Gonone that lead to the active water cave of the Grotta. You can find a large tunnel through which you can get by boat, but also several freshwater lakes fed by underground rivers. The cave is also worth seeing for fans of stalactites and stalagmites.

Why the cave is called "Monk Seal Grotto"? Specimens of the animal genus "Monachini" lived here as late as the 1980s. In the meantime, the Mediterranean monk seal (Monachus monachus) is generally threatened with extinction, while the Caribbean monk seal (Monachus tropicalis) has unfortunately probably already become so.

But of course, not only the cultural highlights of the island are worth a visit. It is great to hike, sail or simply enjoy life and also the Culinary enjoy

Conclusion
No matter what you want to do: Sardinia offers the possibility for this.
