Tours ski
Ski tours are a special experience. Whether one-day or multi-day tours, you are independent of lifts and railroads on the way to untouched winter landscapes and closer to the mountain world than any conventional piste skier. This form of skiing poses other dangers, such as avalanches, and places different demands on equipment. In particular, a low weight is a main criterion but also the different abilities to cope with deep snow and the correspondingly different types of rocker.
G3 FINDr
Lightness, stability and versatility characterize the Findr models from the Canadian ski brand G3. Not everyone will be familiar with the G3 ski brand, but the ski manufacturers from Canada were awarded for their FINDr models at the international sports trade fair ISPO 2016/17. The paulownia poplar wood core provides the lightness of the model. The double carbon inserts support this and also provide stiffness, stability and fast responsiveness. The titanal inlay, for its part, provides damping, power and low vibration. The Findr models are aimed at ski tourers who want a light ski under their feet when going uphill and a safe ski when going downhill to master deep snow passages well. The widest model is designed more for freeriding and the narrowest for stable terrain.
G3 SEEKr
The SEEKr models of the Canadian ski brand G3 are new and come with this winter on the market. They are performance touring skis, characterized by their lightness and high maneuverability without sacrificing stability. From the shape, designed as all-mountain skis, thanks to a super-light topsheet in nylon, the lightweight paulownia poplar wood core and the carbon inserts of the touring skis with low weight. The titanal insert dampens the ski, while the polyurethane sidewalls provide precision and stability. And thanks to minimal radius, the ski is maneuverable like a slalom ski. So it's fast up the mountain and playful and fast down the mountain again, whether through deep snow passages or over slopes.
Dynastar Touring
Mythic & Vertical
Since last winter, they have tried to split up the growing touring ski range to create comprehensibility and then summarized it again, but the matter is actually quite simple. The "Mythic" models are freeride touring models, as you can see from the shape and masses, whereas "Vertical" models are aimed at classic ski tourers. The only outlier is the Pierra Menta model, which is aimed at racers.
Dynastar Touring Women
Attention ski tourers
Last but not least, we close Dynastar's model plaette with two classic ski touring models that could have been included in the men's touring models, but the women skiers at Dynastar are emancipated and make their own range, Voilà!
Fishermen tour
"Hannibal", "Transalp" and Co.
For years Fischer Sports has successfully maintained a versatile touring ski line with wide models for backcountry enthusiasts and adventurers ready, with the Transalp models for the classic ski tourer - the "My Transalp" models of course for the ladies - and with the sporty models for racers and sporty ski mountaineers as there are "Alpattack" and "Verticalp" for pure ascents. The range is sporty and classic. What more could you want.
