HERO Race Expert
Racing skis for racers
"Hero" means "hero", because they are made for Rossignol ski heroes, the racers who participate in international competitions and compete with Rossignol skis. In the process, the line is developed in the rhythm of the Olympics, that is, every 4 years. Accordingly, there have been hardly any changes in the ski concept, only the Prop Tech technology has been somewhat refined. However, the dimensions have been revised in line with the changed FIS regulations. The present range includes the top models of the Hero 2017/18 racing ski series, which are equipped with World Cup technology. Thereby the FIS models have the FIS dimensions, the Master models do not.
HERO Race Expert, Juniors
Junior racer racing skis
Similar to the adult Hero Race Expert models is the case with the junior models. The range has changed only slightly. If you want to become a ski "hero" one day, you have to get to the start early in line with the motto "early practice makes perfect". That's why Rossignol provides junior racers up to the age of 16 with a "hero"-like range.
HERO Race Performance
Racing ski for sporty riders
Even in the sporty models of the Hero line, which is aimed at sporty recreational riders, little has changed. Only the Elite HP model is new and replaces the Elite All Turn model. This line also undergoes its big change next winter.
PURSUIT
Slope men
The Pursuit line is well established in the market. It is aimed at classic carvers and piste enthusiasts, where all the fun happens on the slopes. The models have become visually better and have also been technologically advanced. Various models have been adapted in terms of technology and mass here and there. The previous model Pursuit 600 Basalt was newly equipped with Carbon Alloy Matrix (CAM), the Basalt is omitted, the name was adapted accordingly. The existing ProTech technology was revised and two models were newly equipped with the Carbon Alloy Matrix. The scope and concept of the range have remained the same. The Shape was also slightly adapted here and there.
EXPERIENCE
Allmountain men
Already the 7th winter Rossignol charms his all-mountain fans with the Experience line. Visually, the boards have now become really poppy, fashionable, young and attractive. Technologically, the range has remained the same, even the shape has not been messed around. The air-filled "Air Tip" blade and the Auto Turn Rocker with 30% Rocker still guarantee easy turning and turning on and off the slopes. The Carbon Alloy Matrix introduced last winter, which further enhances the performance of the ski, continues to do its job well. For Rossignol all-mountain enthusiasts the right choice.
7-SERIES
Freeride men
The 7-Series, which this winter runs under the name Freeride, which it is, has undergone a major overhaul in terms of concept and design. The Air-Tip technology on the shovel has been revised and shows up with a clearly recognizable honeycomb structure in the version 2.0. In addition, the series has been expanded with the model "Seek 7", which shines with its low weight. The unique line for freeriders has been topped again for winter 2017/18!
Freestyle
Freestyle
The boards for the acrobats and playful have been slightly adapted to this winter, the model "Slat" has even disappeared and the range has been reduced from 5 to 4 models. The "Jib Tip" technology for low inertia during turns and the Extended Sidecut technology for full edge grip at high speeds are the right thing to give fun to TwinTip lovers.
FAMOUS
Piste ladies
The "Famous" models were introduced only last winter, so everything remains the same, only the design and the choice of wood (poplar instead of paulownia wood for the ski core) have changed somewhat. The models are aimed at female skiers who are interested in carving on the slopes.
TEMPTATION
Allmountain ladies
The Temptation line has also been established for years and is aimed at women who are at home both on the slopes and off-piste in the powder. On the winter 17/18, the widest model with 100 mm center width was canceled, that had obviously too strong freeride dimensions. New are the design, the Carbon Alloy technology, which is installed in the more expensive models, and the shapes, which have been revised somewhat. 6 models in 8 versions offer a great choice for versatile female skiers.
WOMEN 7-SERIES
Freeride ladies
The Freeride line is largely based on last year's models. Here, too, the widest model "Super 7" with its 114 mm center width was deleted. Women are apparently not looking for the ultimate center width. Here, too, the new Air Tip 2.0 technology has been incorporated for a truly maneuverable shovel and the mass has been adjusted somewhat. 4 strong models for women seeking adventure in deep snow.
JUNIOR
Children ski
For boys and girls Rossignol holds under the name "Junior" various all-mountain, piste and race models, including various "Star Wars" and "Frozen" models, if that is not hip. Kids should also have their fun on the white splendor, for this Rossignol offers an impressively large selection.
