Rossignol Temptation, 2017/18

Rossignol Temptation

The Temptation line has also been established for years and is aimed at women who are at home both on the slopes and off-piste in the powder. On the winter 17/18, the widest model with 100 mm center width was canceled, that had obviously too strong freeride dimensions. New are the design, the Carbon Alloy technology, which is installed in the more expensive models, and the shapes, which have been revised somewhat. 6 models in 8 versions offer a great choice for versatile female skiers.

Ski technology

Air Tip

A technology patented by Rossignol, in which the shovel has a honeycomb-like structure filled with air. This makes the shovel lighter and shifts the weight towards the center of the ski, which produces improved maneuverability and ease of turning.

Auto Turn Rocker

The Auto Turn Rocker is one of three types of rocker that Rossignol uses. Here, the shovel and ski ends to 30% are provided with rocker (bend up) and have classic pretension to 70%. The ski turns virtually "by itself" (hence the term "auto"). 30% Rocker on the shovel and on the ski ends already provide neat for turning pleasure and facilitated swing release.

Minicap sandwich

The ultra-strong construction appears with wood core, 30° sidewalls, fiberglass and high-tech laminates. The Mini Caps protect the ski tips and prevent damage with improved durability. The sidewalls are 30′ turned up, which improves swing weight and reduces overall ski weight for better edge grip and resistance.

Light Wood

An ultra-lightweight Paulownia wood core construction with air channels reduces the overall weight of the skis by 30% for increased agility, maneuverability and control without compromising downhill performance.

Poplar wood core

Poplar wood cores provide good weight distribution, cushioning and resiliency for a versatile blend of strength, agility and playfulness.

Cap

ROSSITOP tip caps strengthen the ski, protect it against damage and make it more resistant with faster reaction.

Carbon

Formula 1 of fibers, the ultra-light carbon fibers have mechanical properties and guarantee outstanding strength, support and stability for unique skiing pleasure.

Carbon Alloy Matrix

A new fabric that heralds a new era of highly efficient materials for the construction of skis. Carbon Alloy Matrix is a combination of carbon and basalt fibers. Carbon provides lift, lightness and good power transmission, basalt provides stability and impact absorption. The new fabric increases the performance, grip, precision, stability and maneuverability of the ski.

Central Dualtec

A combination of the best features of sandwich and tip guard construction. The tip guard improves the ski's durability and simplifies rebound, while the traditional sidewalls under the boot provide sharp, direct edge pressure. The benefits of the combined constructions produce a soft flex and strong edging for comfortable ski control. Grip, lightness, resistance.
