Hero - The racing ski of heroes

Last winter Rossignol launched the new racing ski series on the market and it promptly became a huge success. Not only the clear and strong design was decisive for this, but also the high-quality technology built into the ski. In particular, the new Prop Tech technology, in which a reinforcing layer of Zicral aluminum is cut lengthwise on the top of the core at the front, improves turn initiation and power transmission. Rossignol also uses a rocker on their race skis, the Power Turn Rocker. The additional rocker is low at 10% proportion, but the turn initiation is also supported. The 90% preload provide sufficient power and edge grip. Cascade Tip technology helps make the ski even more maneuverable. This is a special tip construction where the top two layers of metal and gals fiber are staggered, reducing the weight and inertia of the tip. The Hero racing ski is packed with high quality technology and profound know-how. It skis very fast, is very agile, shows strong edge grip and is made for safe and fast skiing. No wonder also always ski stars drive a Rossignol Hero racing ski.

Prop Tech

Developed in accordance with the new FIS regulations of curve radii, the Prop Tech is a transversal Skiflex release system. The vertical milled grooves in the metal laminate, provide a more adaptable torsional flex for more control, smoother turn initiation, more direct power transmission and improved edge contact.

Power Turn Rocker

The conventional high chamber through 90% of the ski length provides power and edge grip for explosive bite and lift. The fine rocker tip over the remaining 10%, delivers easier turn initiation and control.

Cascade Tip

Varying lengths of metal and fiberglass laminates staggered through the ski tip provide lighter outer areas and help control tip torsion for smoother turn initiation and improved full edge contact. The lighter tips improve the swing weight of the ski and provide fast and adaptable turn initiation.

Rectangular sandwich

Modern sandwich construction with wood core, vertical sidewalls, fiberglass and titanal or carbon reinforcements. The wood core gives the ski its character and feel for the snow. The rectangular structure allows better distribution of flexibility, and the vertical sidewalls provide direct and powerful edge grip. Edge grip, power, control.

Minicap sandwich

The ultra-strong construction appears with wood core, 30° sidewalls, fiberglass and high-tech laminates. The Mini Caps protect the ski tips and prevent damage with improved durability. The sidewalls are 30′ turned up, which improves swing weight and reduces overall ski weight for better edge grip and resistance.
