Rossignol Alltrack 2025/26: Rossignol takes ski boot comfort to a new level thanks to Step-In technology in its Alltrack all-mountain and freeride models.
The problem of "ski boot comfort" is a never-ending topic that has never found a definitive solution, but year after year, manufacturers are getting closer to solving it. Either the ski boot pinches your shin, it presses on your heel, or you can barely get in, let alone out, of the boot. The stories of ski boot torture are endless, especially since the advent of plastic ski boots in the 1970s. Last year, the Rossignol brand launched a groundbreaking concept with the new Rossignol Vizion, which makes putting on and taking off ski boots much easier and more comfortable thanks to new step-in technology. Now comes the next step. The Step-In technology is used in the “Alltrack” all-mountain and freeride ski boot models, which significantly increases their comfort.
Step-In Technology, Boa, GripWalk, and Co.
With Step-In Technology, Rossignol has found a way to open the cuff (the movable back of the ski boot/flap in the calf area) wider than ever before by operating the top buckle, making it noticeably easier to put on and take off the ski boot after skiing. The new Alltrack models, starting with the 25/26 generation, have featured this very technology. This gives the boot models a comfortable walking mode when out on the trail. Furthermore, the models with a 102 mm last width are also equipped with the "BOA" system, which cycling enthusiasts are already familiar with from racing shoes. You turn the large dial to tighten the boot, causing the wire to tighten increasingly around the connection points, pulling the boot together—like a constrictor (Boa) around its prey—and press the button to quickly release the boot. Skiers will also appreciate the established GripWalk soles, which allow for a more natural rolling motion even with ski boots on, allowing for a more natural walking experience than with previous models without GripWalk technology. Depending on the model, a different high-quality and adjustable inner boot is installed, which can be adjusted to the anatomy of the foot, thus maximizing comfort.
20 models, tailored to the female anatomy
Rossignol is offering 20 different models for the new 2025/26 winter season, including 11 models for men and 9 models for women. The uppers of the women's models have been adapted to the female anatomy and are therefore 18 mm lower and tulip-shaped. Customers can choose between 3 last widths: 98 mm (LV), 100 mm (MV) and 102 mm (HV), between flex strengths from 70 to 130 and between models with or without the BOA system. The color palette is modern and bold, especially when thinking of the men's model in pink for freeriders. The new models range in price from CHF 410.00 to CHF 780.00. Further information on the individual models can be obtained from retailers or from the Rossignol online shop, where they can also be purchased directly.
