Dynastar Speed WC

Racing skis for racers

Color adjustments, minor revisions to the best racing ski models and two new non-FIS models characterize the line for winter 2018/19. In 2016/17, the new World Cup models were introduced to the market with a new name, new technology and new design. The design, concept and technology, especially the Powerdrive technology for even more performance, have been adopted. The dimensions of the FIS models are based on the FIS specifications for World Cup skis, while the other models are not.

Ski technologies

Rectangular sandwich

The ski is made in sandwich construction and has straight sidewalls for maximum precision and performance.

Tip Rocker

Moderate rocker only on the shovel. Facilitates turning with flat ski and provides softness and tolerance in the turns. The rise is moderate so that the ski works in the turn over the entire contact length of the edges.

Full Sidewall

The FULL SIDEWALL construction has a vertical sidewall along the entire length of the ski to provide optimal edge grip, precision, balance and performance.

Powerdrive

POWERDRIVE consists of a vertical sidewall composed of three materials: a visco-elastic component provides impact absorption on uneven terrain, the second area is made of Titanal and enhances the performance of the ski and the third part is the ABS element of the sidewall, which has a central and traditional role in ski control, stability and snow contact.

Fibro metal

Different shapes of metal and fiberglass laminates at staggered lengths in the tip provide a reduction of weight in the tip, which reduces the inertia of the shovel. This increases tip stiffness, facilitates turn initiation and ensures edge grip along the entire length of the ski. The reduced weight of the shovel ensures a faster turn.
