Carving Ski 2020/21

Until a few years ago, they made up the bulk of manufacturers' ski ranges, but since all-mountain skis have gained market share, their share has fallen sharply. Classic skis for the slopes are carving skis, which usually have no rocker, or today only very slight rocker, i.e. have up to 100% of preload and are typically waisted. Their area of use is practically exclusively the piste.

For the 2020 season, Zurich-based ski manufacturer Radical Sports has revamped its entire range, rethinking and redesigning its choice of materials, ski concept and shape. In particular, the racy brand with its handmade skis is focusing this winter on the broad segments of carver and all-mountain. With this year's One of Ten, they're even moving in the direction of performance carvers and race skis. Very, very exciting!

Due to high customer demand, the new One of Ten was designed as a race carver, which is handmade in a limited edition of 10 pieces in the workshops in Zurich-Wollishofen. The unique piece made of carbon, Kevlar, rubber and titanal is aimed at (very) sporty skiers.

The new Race Carver has a harder flex and better damping for more smoothness. The model is designed for sporty riders who are looking for strong edge grip and high smoothness. The Titanal Carbon Kevlar construction provides high torsional stiffness and fast rebound.

The carver ski has been completely redesigned. The thin titanal sandwich provides high torsional stiffness and gives the ski high smoothness and strong edge grip. Kevlar inserts and various rubber layers dampen impacts. The medium-hard flex allows energy-saving driving.

Due to its dimensions, the white carver tends to appeal to women, who have a slim, short and light ski that is perfect for swinging on the slopes. The low flex requires less use of force and is easy on the driver. A fun device!
