Vito Cicchetti appointed new Branch President Honda Motor Europe Ltd, Swiss Branch

As of April 1, 2020, Honda is changing the sales structure of the European divisions in order to strengthen the individual developments of the individual markets. Switzerland will in future be managed as an independent market with the Automotive, Motorcycle and Power Equipment divisions. This is followed at the same time by a change in management. Vito Cicchetti replaces Honda as the new Branch President Honda Motor Europe Ltd, Swiss Branch replaced the previous director Jean-Christophe Muller.

Satigny, February 21, 2020 - Honda is adapting its sales structures to the rapid changes in the automotive industry and European markets. In doing so, the company is strengthening the individual countries and sales regions and creating a lean corporate structure that can respond quickly and efficiently to the development of the individual markets and countries.

Switzerland will be managed as an independent market from April 1, 2020. The previous director Jean-Christophe Muller is leaving the company for personal reasons. Honda thanks Jean-Christophe Muller for his commitment to the company and the Honda brand over more than 25 years.

Canadian-born Italian Vito Cicchetti will lead Honda Suisse as Branch President Honda Motor Europe Ltd, Swiss Branch from April 1, 2020. He can count on Matthieu Naegelen, who will also support him as Branch Vice President Honda Motor Europe Ltd, Swiss Branch from April 1, 2020.

Vito Cecchetti brings 40 years of motorcycle and automotive experience to Switzerland, of which 35 years with the Honda brand. In his career, he has held various positions with leading functions in sales, strategy, product planning, dealer network and market development. In his current position, Vito Cecchiti leads the European business of the Motorcycle Division as Motorcycle General Manager Honda Europe Ltd.
