Last season was a season to forget for the former MTB world champion. The season started promisingly with a second place at the Cyprus Sunshine Epic in February, but then the American took a break like many other athletes due to corona and completed the two World Cups at the end of September and beginning of October. She only scored 130 points in one race with a 6th place. With a 36th place at the race in October, there was nothing to be gained. The World Cup in Saalfelden-Leogang was even a small disaster. All participants had to deal with rain and extremely muddy conditions. The American first suffered a defect while on course for the podium, which set her far back. Later she crashed on her head and had to give up. The result was zero points. The result for the year was correspondingly poor: 276 World Cup points in 2020 means a fall to 63rd place in the international ranking of the MTB women's elite. The American is currently preparing for the new season in California and is full of energy and optimism as usual.
