Jenny Rissveds: Question mark

In 2019, the former Olympic champion had picked herself up again with a new team after her career interruption and fought her way up to an outstanding 17th place in the international world rankings. Four podium finishes, including two victories from the total of 8 World Cup races put a strong exclamation mark and lifted her to 1170 World Cup points and thus almost back into the top field. Only the 16th place at the World Championships was not to her liking. But she also falls far back again last year to 130th place. Reason: She won the national championship title, as usual, but at the two World Cup races at the end of September and beginning of October the air was out. Twice 39th place and only 29 World Cup points each time, led to the final result of 158 points and 130th place. The big question is how it will continue in 2021. So far she behaves relatively quiet, she trains, is out in the nature of Sweden, but no announcements. It will be exciting to see what comes from Jenny Rissveds in 2021.
