Bianchi new in Switzerland without importer

F.I.V. E. Bianchi S.p.A. is now supplying Switzerland directly: After 10 years of cooperation with the Valais-based distributor Trendissima, F.I.V.E. Bianchi S.p.A. will take over distribution in Switzerland itself as of July 1, 2021. It will be represented locally by the experienced industry expert Peter Stolba. The federally certified sales manager and marketing planner knows the sports industry from his positions at Uvex, Polar and most recently ELECTRA and is looking forward to the exciting task.

So from now on Bianchi, based in Treviglio (BG), is the direct supplier for the high-quality Bianchi bikes and matching accessories in Switzerland. The processing of orders, invoicing and warranty cases as well as the delivery from the Italian warehouse at the production site will from now on be carried out directly by the manufacturer. The tradition-rich Bianchi brand, which has become known primarily for its high-quality racing bikes in the eye-catching "Celeste" color, has also recently attracted attention with other exciting news.
Thus, the complete production of the Bianchi bike collection, which has long been supplemented by first-class e-mountain bikes and e-city bikes, is to be greatly expanded in the medium term and brought completely to Europe and Italy. The goal is thus to become less dependent on the Far East and to protect the environment through shorter transport routes. Already today, most Bianchi bicycles, including state-of-the-art e-bikes with Bosch and Shimano drive are manufactured at the company's headquarters in Treviglio.

From our experience as a publisher, the Trendissima company in French-speaking Switzerland was certainly not the best partner and probably overwhelmed by the task. None of our calls were answered, emails always remained unanswered. And it was probably not easy for the company in French-speaking Switzerland to gain a foothold in German-speaking Switzerland. It is now to be hoped that communication with the Italian bicycle brand will be much better and more professional.
