Wimbledon 2015: Federer shows strong dominance

You don't want to be called Roberto Bautista Agut when you are so clearly beaten by Roger Federer, as happened to him today. A slick victory for the Swiss, without anything to criticize, apart from the four match points that the Basel player needed on Agut's serve to win the match. The Spaniard, who is ranked 22nd in the ATP world rankings, was visibly trying, but Federer placed decisively, refined, knew how to convince with straight winners and strong serves. He looked very strong and stepped on the gas as if he wanted to race into the final like an express train. Given his current condition, Federer can be expected and wished to do so. He wants to win the unbeatable 8th Wimbledon title and leave Pete Sampras behind, who like himself has also won the Wimbledon tournament seven times. Waiting for him in the quarterfinals is Frenchman Gilles Simon, who just knocked Czech Tomas Berdych out of the tournament. The world number 13 is a difficult opponent and could be unpleasant as he is currently playing his best Wimbledon tournament in years. Federer has to play against like he did today against Agut, then nothing can go wrong.
