BH iAerolight: The next generation of e-racing bikes

The BH iAerolight is the result of the combination of BH's extensive experience in professional sports and the latest technology in the e-bike segment. Despite the engine, it is so similar in design, shape and geometry to the BH Aerolight that it is difficult to tell them apart.

Aerodynamic and lightweight carbon frame
The core of the BH iAerolight is the high-quality carbon frame. When it comes to the design, HCIM manufacturing process and the fibers chosen, BH's main focus was to achieve the most competitive weight, while at the same time maintaining stiffness and robustness to ensure use as e-bikes. The frame weighs just 1,400 grams, which is remarkable for a frame that can withstand the additional forces generated by the engine. Weighing just 11.8 kg (tubeless) with a powerful motor and large battery, the iAerolight is an e-racing bike that can move agilely and quickly even without support.

Integration: an essential building block
At BH, integration plays an important role in all new models, which is also reflected in the new iAerolight. Thanks to the internal ACR cable routing system, all cables are hidden within the frame to optimize aerodynamics and design. The seat clamp is also fully integrated into the shape of the frame, and the high-quality fully integrated aero carbon cockpit fits seamlessly into the lines of the head tube, giving the BH iAerolight a decidedly clean look. Quick Lever quick releases, where the lever is hidden inside the axle, allow the wheels to be removed without tools. Full integration also extends to safety accessories such as the Planck taillight, which is attached to the seat tube with a simple, tool-free magnet system. In terms of e-power, it has the iAerolight Heart system, where the battery level and the current assistance mode are displayed via colored LEDs. Switching between the different support modes is done using a single button. Thanks to the connection with the Garmin ecosystem, additional information can be transferred from the drive system to a GPS device.

Aerodynamics: a priority
Aerodynamics is the foundation of the design of the new BH iAerolight. The name as well as the frame shapes and fully integrated components reflect this, allowing it to offer the best possible performance in the wind. The Kamm Tail shapes of the frame tubes allow for controlled airflow without slowing down the bike. And the Air Bow fork not only completes the design language, but is another important factor in the aerodynamic performance of this model.

2nd generation BH2EXMAG engine
The BH iAerolight is equipped with the second generation Light-BH2EXMAG motor, a motor that has been tested and optimized in other BH models and impresses with its small size, light weight and low noise level. Its support is very gentle and natural, which gives even more authenticity to the riding experience of a normal racing bike that the BH iAerolight offers. With 250W of power and a maximum torque of 65Nm, its additional thrust makes all the difference when it comes to tackling difficult terrain. When pedaling above 25 km/h, the motor is completely decoupled and creates no additional friction. The battery is integrated into the down tube and has a capacity of 410 Wh, enabling a range of up to 130 km. With the XPro additional battery already included in the top model, which is attached using a quick and easy plug-in system, BH increases the capacity by a further 180 Wh for a total of 590 Wh and an estimated range of up to 180 km. The BH iConnect app can be used to adjust support levels and access basic settings of the BH2EXMAG motor. As with all high-end bikes, BH offers you the opportunity to individually design your dream bike using the BH Unique program.
