Vittoria announces the development of a Cycling Innovation Centre with associated Bike Park next to its headquarters and expanded warehouse in Brembate (Bergamo, northern Italy). With the 10 million euro investment, the company's premises will grow from 10,000 to 40,000 square meters.
In 2022, Vittoria will open a unique center for research, prototyping and testing of bicycle tires, according to today's announcement. The Cycling Innovation Centre will explore the application of technologies, sustainable processes and materials, with the aim of continuously improving tire performance. The adjacent Bike Park, with various tracks and structures, will be equipped with measurement technologies and used to test tires in all relevant terrain and weather conditions.
The Cycling Innovation Centre and Bike Park will be available to Vittoria's partners - such as bicycle manufacturers, professional cycling teams and athletes - to test different tire options, analyze wheel-tire combinations and work on joint development projects. The Bike Park will also be open to the general public, as Vittoria wants to spread the joy of cycling and give riders new experiences.
At the same time, Vittoria will double its European warehouse capacity to support growth in the coming years. This is part of a broader investment program aimed at significantly increasing the output of Vittoria's production facilities in Thailand. These investments will help Vittoria meet growing global market demand for high-quality bicycle tires while providing the excellent level of service for which the company is known.
Vittoria is the leading brand for advanced road and off-road bike tires, as demonstrated once again by the successes collected in 2020, such as the victories in the Tour de France and La Vuelta with the Vittoria Corsa and the UCI MTB World Championship with the Vittoria Barzo.
