Snow Epic - a new bike spectacle is born

Tomorrow, January 14, 2015, the new special event "Snow Epic" for bike enthusiasts starts in the centrally located Engelberg in the heart of Switzerland. The idea came from organizer and founder Kevin Vermaak, who has already created the legendary Cape Epic in South Africa, when he spent a ski vacation in Engelberg a year ago.

After this winter was too warm for a long time, the event, which was planned as a winter spectacle, threatened to perish in the mud, but Frau Holle had mercy and provided a small layer of snow in time.

According to the organizer, a total of 122 riders from 20 nations will take part in one or more of the five races with their fatbikes. The races will take place from 15 - 17 January 2015.
