Mix & Match Collection – Individual Swimwear Styles
The Mix & Match Collection 2026 focuses on maximum combinability and offers the largest selection of freely combinable styles to date. Different bikini tops – from triangle and bandeau to bralette and tankini – can be flexibly combined with various bottoms, allowing for individual looks.
Diverse silhouettes, patterns, and color palettes offer numerous styling options: from sun-bleached solids in textured fabrics to striking animal prints, soft florals, and graphic stripes. New material textures such as terry cloth, ribbed fabrics, and broderie anglaise add depth and a premium feel. The result is a collection that effortlessly adapts to personal preferences and puts individual summer style front and center. In addition, there are pre-coordinated bikini sets in various prints and colors, as well as swimsuits—from timeless classics to one-shoulder designs.
SUP & Surf
The Spring/Summer 2026 collection also includes a dedicated SUP & Surf line, designed for both active sessions and relaxed moments on the water. Quick-drying materials, elasticated cuffs, and thoughtful fits support comfort and freedom of movement during various activities. The collection is complemented by surf tops, beach shorts, and relaxed-fit surf tees that combine functionality with a laid-back look and are equally suitable for the beach.
Sustainability & Innovation
In line with our commitment to responsible production, the entire Protest Sportswear swimwear collection is PFC-free. A large part of our Mix & Match range is also made from recycled polyester. The fabrics in our SUP and surf lines also offer natural UV protection, thus safeguarding against harmful sun exposure.
The combination of performance, design, and a more conscious use of materials underscores Protest Sportswear's ongoing focus on innovation. The 2026 swimwear collection demonstrates that the perfect bikini isn't a single style, but rather an individual combination – versatile, adaptable, and personal.
ABOUT PROTEST
Protest was founded in 1993 by a small group of board sports enthusiasts in the Netherlands. That's right: the Netherlands. One of the flattest countries on earth. Home to, to be precise, five hills and fourteen waves. From day one, the focus remained on being a design-oriented boardwear company, aiming to make the world a little bit better, both on snow and water. That's why Protest offers trendy and functional boardwear at affordable prices, reminding the world that boarding is truly fun. Fashionable streetwear is also part of the collection. In addition, there's a wide range of swimwear available in the summer, as well as a whole line of functional boardshorts.
With the launch of the functional eco-collection PVRE Green in Spring/Summer 2021, Protest took a big step towards becoming an environmentally friendly company, using recyclable materials, renewable resources, and green technologies.
