Elan Race: stable, grippy, fast
The "Race" line from Elan includes four high-quality carving skis for use on the slopes, and their sporty character is clearly noticeable. The Race line lives up to its name, after all, it inherited the concept and thus its basic characteristic from the racing skis called "World Cup", the difference is mainly found in the material and dimensions. In particular, the "Powerspine" technology developed for racing has been incorporated into the Race models for maximum stability and optimum power distribution. For easier turn initiation, all models feature Elan's asymmetrical Amphibio rocker. This ensures a good grip thanks to the inner edge with pure preload and easier turn initiation thanks to the rockered outer edge at the ski ends. The look has also been modeled on the World Cup models. Anyone who loves sporty carving on the slopes is well served by these models.

Amphibio
Elan is the only major ski manufacturer to use an asymmetrical rocker. The outer edges of the ski are rockered or slightly more curved at both ski ends, while the inner edges have a classic preload or no rocker. The inside edge provides maximum edge grip, while the outside edge facilitates turn initiation.
Powerspine
This refers to a new racing technology that Elan is developing. The arc-shaped construction along the ski distributes the forces better and provides more stability and torsional stiffness. New, the ski has been reinforced with an additional carbon insert along the entire ski.
Response Frame Wood Core
The Response Frame wood core is a unique and innovative tip-to-tail laminated wood core, for direct power transmission and optimal torsional stability, thanks to the combination of a hardwood frame with a softer wood core.
Laminated wood core
This wood core extends from the tip to the tail of the ski and is designed for each model and length. Different types of wood in various combinations allow individual adjustments to the needs of each model. The stable wood core transfers power very directly to the edge.
Dual TI
A titanium layer is inserted above and below the wood core for reinforcement. This makes the ski stiffer and better edge control and power transmission are the result.
Mono TI
A titanium insert over the wood core increases torsional stiffness and reaction speed.
RST
Vertical sidewalls that provide optimal edge grip and transfer power directly to the edges.
Fusion
All Amphibio models feature the Fusion ski binding system, It improves power transmission to the ski edge and ensures a harmonious ski flex and fast turn initiation.
