Davos opens the ski season tomorrow

Davos, November 17, 2016 - As announced, the continuous ski season in Davos Klosters begins on Friday, November 18, 2016. Bergbahnen Davos Klosters AG has been able to take advantage of the past days and weeks and now provides a wide range of slopes and facilities.

Several lifts and slopes can be put into operation during the opening weekend in Davos Klosters. On Friday, two slopes and the Rapid and Totalp chairlifts will be in operation at Davos Parsenn. On Saturdays and Sundays, a further two lifts and five pistes will be added to the snow sports offering. This means that winter sports enthusiasts have several kilometers of slopes in excellent condition at their disposal. The wide range of offers could be made available thanks to great commitment and exploitation of optimal conditions by Bergbahnen Davos Klosters.

More ski resorts to follow soon
The ski resorts Gotschna and Jakobshorn start operation on weekends for the time being. From Klosters you can get to the ski area from 19.11 to 20.11 and 26.11 to 27.11. The Jakobshorn ski area will be in operation on weekends from 26.11 to 27.11. From Friday, December 2, the Parsenn, Gotschna and Jakobshorn ski areas will be in continuous winter operation. Current information about the open facilities, slopes will be published at www.davos.ch/saison1617.

Pre-Christmas gift
To kick off the winter season, Davos Klosters has a special offer: With "Ski pass for free", guests receive the Davos Klosters Mountains ski pass for free for every overnight stay in one of the many partner hotels and individual vacation apartment agencies during the pre-season. This pre-season promotion is valid from November 18 to December 25, 2016.
