Piste & Carving Ski 2017/18

Slope

Until a few years ago, they made up the bulk of manufacturers' ski ranges, but since all-mountain skis have gained market share, their share has plummeted. Classic piste skis are carving skis that usually have no rocker or, today, only very slight rocker, have up to 100% of camber and are typically waisted. Their area of use is practically exclusively the piste.

The "Speed Zone" line was also newly introduced in winter 2016/17. The line for piste skiers was well received in the market and will continue in the same mode in the coming winter 2017/18.

Rossignol Pursuit 2017-2018

Rossignol Pursuit

Slope men

The Pursuit line is well established in the market. It is aimed at classic carvers and piste enthusiasts, where all the fun happens on the slopes. The models have become visually better and have also been technologically advanced. Various models have been adapted in terms of technology and mass here and there. The previous model Pursuit 600 Basalt was newly equipped with Carbon Alloy Matrix (CAM), the Basalt is omitted, the name was adapted accordingly. The existing ProTech technology was revised and two models were newly equipped with the Carbon Alloy Matrix. The scope and concept of the range have remained the same. The Shape was also slightly adapted here and there.

Fischer Sports Progressor

The Progressor model series is established in the trade and is considered a reliable carving ski model line. Therefore, one continues with it in the same way. Only the smallest model F15 was canceled, the difference to the model F16 was simply too small. The technological development of last winter with Razorshape was of course retained. Anyone who is into sporty carving should keep an eye on the Progressor line at Fischer Sports.

Fischer Sports Brilliant

Noble piste skis

For many years, Fischer Sports carried the noble carbon line "C-Line". It still came from the time when carbon and noble skis were trumps a few years ago. Now Fischer Sports is introducing the "Brilliant" line, which is made up of the best models from various series and can also be personalized. If you're looking for a special ski with a personal touch, you'll find the right model for the different area of use (race ski, piste, all-mountain) in "Brilliant". There are three models for men and two models for women.

K2 Luv Precision

Piste ladies

The counterpart to the men's Charger models on the slopes are also this winter the two Luv models "Luv Machine" and "OneLuv". Here, a Bioflex wood core made of fir wood on the sides and the light Paulownia wood and bendable bamboo in the middle is also used in 2017/18. The Luv Machine model adds titanal inserts above and below the ski core, while the OneLuv model adds fiberglass wrapping around the ski core. The Speed Rocker provides the sporty character. Both models are made for female skiers who are sporty on the slopes.

Rossignol Famous

Piste ladies

The "Famous" models were introduced only last winter, so everything remains the same, only the design and the choice of wood (poplar instead of paulownia wood for the ski core) have changed somewhat. The models are aimed at female skiers who are interested in carving on the slopes.

Dynastar Intense 2017-2018

Dynastar Intense

Piste ladies

The piste-oriented women's models "Intense", which Dynastar launched last winter 2016/17, will continue with minor adjustments in the same mode. Ladies who are alone on the slopes thus have the right model at hand.

Fischer_My-Turn_2017-2018

Fischer Sports My Turn

Piste ladies

A new name, but the same concepts, but with new shapes. All women's models this winter start with "My...", so it's easy to see which skis are specifically for women. For the four slope models, the concept of last winter has been kept, but for three models new dimensions and shapes have been developed and, of course, the design has been revised. The lightweight construction, women-specific ski design and the feminine touch for women on the slopes have remained the same.
